Hi Cathi:

The other day I was walking my dog and a situation that I allowed to frustrate me came up –and it is not the first time - as I spoke out loud to myself about the situation and how angry I was about it and how I wanted to change it but had no authority to do it — since I can only change myself!(Runon sentence.) Darn, I sure wish I could change some of the people around me -but I can’t. I can’t even imagine how God deals with our inadequacies when He has all the best ideas and answers. Hmmm.

Anyway, I noticed I was talking to myself in a very emotional way and I said, “Joan, what are you doing? Will this change anything? I think you are holding on to an issue that is dead and gone?” “Uh huh,” I said to myself. Whether the past is 50 years ago or 5 hours ago, or 5 minutes ago, it is still dead and gone. So holding onto it makes no sense because as you say, there are do-overs!

The Erase or Embrase techniques are so powerful and work so well and I again utilized them to release all the negative energy and had a wonderful walk with my doggie.

Thank you so much, Cathi, for helping me to alter my present by letting go of my past. You are the best friend a person could have.

Love you,
Joan Vail

Hi Cathi, thank you so much for all this so helpful information. I have just started reading these articles and I have taken a stand to really put off the hurting feelings that are holding me back. It is so good to know that there is no condemnation to put those memories off no matter if it has to do with family issues. Culture, religion and beliefs that are so tiny compared to the freedom and release God wants us to live. I haven’t been able to find where the tapping demo is yet, but I am reading the material. I know I will find that demo at the right time. Thanks again and we are in touch.
God bless you,
